A quick and easy BLT Wrap recipe featuring crispy thick-cut bacon, fresh romaine or iceberg lettuce, ripe juicy tomatoes, and a creamy spread all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. Perfectly balanced flavors with a satisfying crunch, ideal for lunch, light dinner, or a portable snack.

  • 6 strips thick-cut bacon

Vegetables

  • 4 large romaine or iceberg lettuce leaves, washed and dried
  • 2 medium ripe tomatoes, sliced medium-thick

Wrap and Spread

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or avocado spread

Seasoning

  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bacon: Cook the thick-cut bacon strips until crispy but not burnt, using a medium heat pan or baking in the oven on a lined sheet. Drain cooked bacon on paper towels to remove excess fat.
  2. Wash and Slice the Veggies: Rinse the lettuce thoroughly and pat dry. Slice the tomatoes into even, medium-thick slices to prevent sogginess in the wrap.
  3. Lay Out the Tortilla and Spread: Place each flour tortilla flat on a clean surface and spread a generous layer of mayonnaise or your chosen spread evenly over it to add flavor and keep the wrap from getting soggy.
  4. Assemble the BLT Wrap: Layer the bacon strips, lettuce leaves, and tomato slices onto the tortilla. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and black pepper over the vegetables to enhance the flavors.
  5. Roll and Wrap Tightly: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and carefully roll it up snugly from one end to the other. For easier eating and portability, wrap the roll in parchment paper or cut it diagonally before serving.
