Crescent Roll Dough

Cheese Blend

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your oven and dough: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the crescent roll dough on a flat surface, gently separating it into triangles along the perforated lines without tearing.
  2. Add the cheese filling: Place about one tablespoon of the cheese blend at the wide base of each dough triangle. If using herbs or spices, sprinkle them evenly over the cheese before rolling.
  3. Roll into crescents: Starting at the wide base, carefully roll each triangle toward the pointed tip to form a crescent shape. Place each rolled crescent onto a parchment-lined baking sheet with the tip underneath to prevent unrolling during baking.
  4. Add butter and season: Melt the butter and brush it generously over each roll for a rich, golden finish. Optionally, sprinkle garlic powder and chopped parsley on top for extra flavor and color.
  5. Bake until golden: Bake in your preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the rolls are puffed up and golden brown. Remove and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
