Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bread: Slice your soft bread loaf into thick, even rectangles or squares, keeping the crust intact to hold the filling and spread securely.
  2. Make the Garlic Butter Spread: In a bowl, mix the softened unsalted butter with freshly minced garlic, granulated sugar, optional milk powder, and finely chopped parsley until thoroughly combined and aromatic.
  3. Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling: Soften the cream cheese in a separate bowl and whip it until smooth and luscious. Optionally, blend in sugar or vanilla extract for added flavor.
  4. Assemble the Bread: Hollow out a small cavity in each piece of bread to form a pocket. Generously fill this pocket with the cream cheese mixture, then spread the garlic butter liberally over the top of each piece.
