Ingredients

Scale

Tea Base

  • 4 cups hot water (just off boiling)
  • 4 black or green tea bags

Fruits

  • 2 ripe fresh peaches, peeled and diced
  • 2 ripe fresh mangoes, peeled and diced

Sweetener & Flavor

  • 2 tbsp honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste, optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

To Serve

  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh peach slices, mango chunks, or mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew Your Tea: Steep 4 black or green tea bags in 4 cups of hot water (just off a rolling boil) for 4 to 5 minutes until a strong rich flavor develops. Remove tea bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  2. Prepare the Fruits: While the tea cools, peel and dice 2 ripe fresh peaches and 2 ripe mangoes. Set aside a handful of diced fruit for garnish if desired.
  3. Blend the Fruits: In a blender, combine half of the diced peaches and mangoes with 1/4 cup of the cooled tea. Blend until smooth to create a fruit puree.
  4. Mix and Sweeten: Pour the brewed tea into a large pitcher. Stir in the fruit puree along with the remaining diced peaches and mangoes. Add 2 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup to taste and 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. Mix well to combine all flavors.
  5. Chill and Serve: Add plenty of ice cubes to the pitcher or directly to individual glasses. Garnish with fresh peach slices, mango chunks, or mint leaves for an extra special touch. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Peach Mango Iced Tea.

Notes

  • Use ripe, juicy peaches and mangoes for the best natural sweetness and flavor.
  • Use water just off boiling to avoid bitterness when brewing tea.
  • Adjust sweetness gradually to keep the drink light and refreshing.
  • Fresh fruit is preferred but frozen can be used as a convenient substitute.
  • Chill the iced tea for at least one hour to let flavors meld perfectly before serving.
